Joel and I decided that we wanted to take the plunge and get a puppy shortly after we returned from our honeymoon in the beginning of May. A mini goldendoodle seemed like the perfect fit for us and when we came across the Whispering Pines Kennel we knew it was meant to be.  We picked Reese from Sandy and Moon's litter because we loved her peanut butter hair! We made the trip from Minneapolis to pick her up and loved her from the first second we saw her. She has been the center of our lives ever since.

Reese is fun loving and a  little ball of energy! She adores kids and loves any one that will pay attention to her. She is a neighborhood favorite and the kids always knock on our door and ask if Reese can come out and play. She has learned lots of fun tricks and is always willing to show off for a treat. Some of her favorite tricks to perform are high five and wait and catch. She loves peanut butter, playing ball, tug of war, running, scratching in the laundry baskets, and she loves to go swimming in the bathtub.

We got a fence shortly after we got her and so she loves to be outside and playing in the backyard. Even though she is free spirited, she is well behaved. She stays by our side, comes when she's called, walks beside us on walks, goes right into her kennel at night, gives lots of kisses and sits nicely on our laps at night. She's been in puppy class and to doggie boot camp and has learned so much.

Everywhere we go people always comment on how cute she is. We feel special to have such a nice dog that everyone adores. She is such a great little dog and we know that she will just continue to get better as she grows. At nine months she weighs about 25 pounds and her peanut butter puppy coat is now more of a strawberry blonde. We love her so much and can't imagine our lives without her.
